| The Valley of Hope
Within the safety of the mountains lies a valley where herdless horses come to search for a stallion to take them in. The stretch of land is luscious and green with a watering hole near it's center. With plenty of trees spread out across it's surface, it's the perfect place to wait.
No matter what time of year this valley is always beautiful.

| Solitary Fields
Not too far from the Valley of Hope lies the Solitary Fields. This stretch of grass is where loners range. They live here, either alone or with small family groups, but no horse that comes here is searching for a herd. They come here to live until they decide to go somewhere else. Some live here for all of their lives, others move on to a herd, and others just move on in general.

| Amour Woods
Within the area around the Valley of Hope lies a fairly large forest. The trees and bushes provide perfect seculusion for any horses who wish to breed. The air almost always smells of horses breeding, it's not as strong most of the time, so any mares that come here could be easily sniffed out by a wandering stallion.
Mares beware, wandering here alone may find you in the clutches of a lusty stallion.

| Blessed Springs
In the gathering of land there lies a beautiful stretch of forest, bushes, tall grasses, and fresh water streams. This is the ideal area for a pregnant mare to come and bring new life to Dark Mountain. There is everything needed for a recovering mare and her foal(s); water, food, shelter, privacy.
Stallions are sometimes spotted here, supporting a mare.

| Meadow of Compassion
On this stretch of land horses; especially mares and their foals, come here to meet other horses from different herds in peace. There is no fighting in this sector of the mountains making it the perfect play area for foals and horses alike.
This area also holds as a safe-haven for abandoned and orphaned foals. Hidden among a few bushes in a place where most foals take shelter when left here. Mares and Stallions can come here to adopt on of the poor young ones.

| Blood Stained Cliff
This plateu looks out over all of Dark Mountain. This place is where horses come to challenge and fight each other. A stallion could easily sound a challenge to a stallion and it could reach them no matter how far their lands lie.
The ground and sides of this straight drop are stained with the blood of those who have fought here before. At the bottom of the cliff, the ground is also stained red and the disregarded bodies of horses lie above and beneath the ground.

| Valley of the Fallen
Here lies the bodies and souls of just about all the deceased horses here at the Dark Mountain. Horses can come to die here or can come to visit those that have passed on. They say this place is still haunted by the souls of all of the deceased so be weary. Many horses have been tricked by the illusion of a dead one.

| Claimable Lands |
| The Kohaku River Valley
In one of the many valleys, lies a beautiful river called the Kohaku River. The banks of this river provide plenty of food and shelter with trees and fields a plenty. And of course, the river is a great source of water and a great place to escape the heat of the summer days.

| The Moonlit Forest
Among the mountains, lies a wide span of forest. Unlike most forests, this one glows when hit by the moon light. It's glow is quite dazzling and some get lost because of it. For some it's easy to get use to and they thrive with all the necessities it provides.

| Rattlesnake Bend
Although the name may seem ominious the land is quite safe and beautiful. Below the Blood Stained Cliff lies a stretch of land protected by steep cliffsides and rocks. The land provides a river to drink from, grass and other vegetation to eat, but there are very few trees on the landscape to shelter under. A stallion would be lucky to claim land with more than four trees. Of all the lands this is one of the most harshest to live on during the Summer and Winter because of the little shelter.
